One of the biggest benefits of photographing weddings is that I get to capture those special, behind-the-scenes moments that no one else sees. Matt and Samantha’s wedding was a huge tear-jerker for me! I think I cried at least three times that day and that was because of the beautiful, intimate moments I was blessed to be a part of. Seeing tears pour down Matt’s face as he saw his bride walk down the aisle toward him, watching the dances…all of it was beautiful, emotional, and God-honoring.
Matt and Samantha, I hope these images bless you as much as I was blessed to be a part of your wonderful day!!
Okay, so I went a little overboard with the jewelry pictures. :)
Such a gorgeous dress!!
The hairdresser put Samantha’s veil on for a quick trial-run and Samantha just radiated joy and excitement!!
Mama and son.
Beautiful flower girls!!
Samantha, you’re so beautiful!!!
Such a sweet Daddy-Daughter first look!! Samantha’s dad came in the room, gave her a hug, opened his eyes and said, in a voice choked with emotion, “You look beautiful.”
Soon, the ceremony was beginning!
Waiting for his bride!
Cutest little ring bearer ever!!
Another kiss was in order as soon as they exited the sanctuary. :)
Such a beautiful (and big) bridal party!
All the groomsmen wanted a picture with the bride. :)
When everyone headed off to the reception, we took some couple portraits!
Golly…aren’t they a beautiful couple?
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Cumby!!!!!
Loved the bride and groom cakes!!
This dance made me cry!
Love the way she looked up at her dad. :)
Matt and Samantha had some unique drinks to toast…Matt had Mountain Dew and Samantha had Red Bull. :)
Matt and Samantha were so willing to do whatever I asked them. I know Samantha’s shoes were killing her and Matt just wanted to sit down, but they still came outside and let me capture some more pictures of them before the light faded. They were the best!
Grandma’s first dance with her grandson. :)
As the sun sank below the horizon, the dance floor opened up and the party began!
While Matt and Samantha were dancing, a surprise entered the room: their golden retriever, Nike!
These grandparents were so sweet! The grandpa walked with a cane, yet he managed to dance for a few minutes with his wife, twirling her once too!
Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Cumby!!!!!!
